HIP FLEXOR STRETCH

- OSTEOPATHY -

A new and updated video of the hip flexor stretch, focusing on the importance of the position of the pelvis before you start. This is the most common mistake I see when I teach this stretch to patients and thought it worth making a video about it. I hope you find it helpful!

The original video is still available below:

HIP FLEXOR STRETCH

A safe and easy way to stretch your hip flexors, with tips on how to avoid common mistakes. The stretch should always be comfortable and never forced. Always do both sides and remember to keep your lower back straight when you do it (don't arch the lower back backward) -- to achieve this, bring your tail bone down towards the floor before you go into the forward lunge (or tuck the pelvis under / bring your bum forward / do a Michael Jackson). To use at your own risk.
