Upper Shoulder Stretch
A nice stretch to relieve tension in the upper shoulders and into the neck. Best kept for the end of a long day at a desk.
Do this exercise at your own risk. Stop doing the stretch immediately if it is painful or if you notice any other symptoms. The stretch should be comfortable and “tame“ the muscles into relaxation, not force them. If neck and shoulder pain is a recurring problem, consider having your desk posture checked and your neck and shoulders professionally assessed.
